Great picture! I am an equipment fanatic too - and love Minolta. There is no way you can beat Minolta when it comes to value for money.

I have never been fond of the X-700, but I have a SR-7, SRT-Super, XE, XD-7 chrome and XD-7 black chromium plated with a stack of lenses and other accessories.

I always thought medium format was out of my price range, until I discovered an Autocord on eBay Australia. Well, I didn't buy that one but won an auction on a CDSIII from the US. It should arrive any day now...

Hold on, our mail person here at work is just putting the box on my desk!!! Have to stop jabbering now and open it!

Have read all you posts on the Autocord on Photo.net over the last few days and will use your instructions when loading the first film.
