This museum tells the dramatic story of the enslaved crossing over the

river Ohio on the journey to freedom, assisted by men and women of all

backgrounds who hated slavery and had created a secret network of

escape routes that came to be called "the Underground Railroad."......I

thank you in advance for all your comments.

"Cure for freedom's harms is freedom still."

I like the strong composition you made here... curved, endless wall shows determination of movement and in a same moment protection ... the bridge and the window are telling the story .... big blue sky always was above ....

Juan Carlos Thank you for your beautiful comments on my photos. You make me happy :) You know ... the song "Here comes the Sun" really means to me a lot.... you are an intuitive darling :)

I love red , too.... it is a hell and a paradise of the color :)))

Best to you, dear!

I think the previous comment came from the heart. Last year, the underground railway was made into a musical production and premiered in Montreal . I also discovered a white lady on PN whose relatives actively participated in the underground railroad. Great image by the way!

Tatjana, thank you for that heartfelt comment, I’m flabbergasted by your words; I don’t think the image even deserves such praise. I’m really grateful for your note!

Tony, thanks for stopping by and commenting, I’m glad you liked the image, and could relate to the fantastic story behind such a building. Cheers,

Your photo captures the architectural lines of the museum perfectly, wonderful shot. I've viewed other photos in your portfolio, and they are as equally pleasing. The green bug photo, great shot; scary/mean looking bugger....Robert

Thank you for your generous comment on my photo.

That puzzle-piece shard of blue at the top is fantastic. Visually, this has appeal because the lines, graceful as they are, seem so unpredictable.
