Great shot. It really is neat to frame within a frame. I've toyed with this a bit when I was at the crater. I could never resolve whether I thought it looked best showing the top of the brick or bringing down the upper border of the photo so it falls within the upper brick of the frame window. I like yours.

Andrew, I went through the same debate, but realized that if you kept it all within the brick fram there was no context for the uniqueness of theshot. It was just a landscape with a strange brick frame around it. Thank you for your comments, wasn'tt sure how many people, if any, would recognize the location. - Charles

A really interesting shot and the title is perfect! I have never seen a brick wall built in the middle of nowhere for the sole purpose of framing nature! Where was this taken? Why was the wall built or is it the only remaining wall of a building destroyed in a quake? Nice shot. Thank you for sharing. :)

Trisha, I loved this wall from the moment I saw it. It is part of a courtyard wall at Meteor Crater Park in Ariszona. When you are in the courtyard you can look out over the desert and see the mountain range in the distance, sort of a tourist lookout point. Thanks for taking a look.
