barmijo 0 Posted February 20, 2003 This makes me remember being a kid and walking along the post tops. Technically, I think the framing and exposure are well done. Link to comment

nickolay_lavrik 0 Posted February 21, 2003 I think there is a nice balance between the snow and the wood and the diagonal composition of this photo is eye pleasing. The subject is less ussual than in many other winter photos, which makes this one very original. Nickolay Link to comment
amateur 0 Posted February 22, 2003 Vlad, very nice picture. I would hang it on my wall. Regards. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted February 22, 2003 I like it, too. I like the way the shaped (domesticated) wood separates the snow from the wild wood. Since the colors are so monochromatic, being either brown or white, I wonder how this would look Cybil'd into black and white? Also, what are the possibilities of lightening the first post? It's darkness is in contrast to the tone of the others and so its difference is attention getting. Link to comment
vlad po... 1 Posted February 22, 2003 Nickolay, Darin and Doug, I really appreciate your time, comments and suggestions. Doug, I'm attaching a file with three modifications of a primary image as follows (from left to right), i)lightened (+10); ii) B&W unlightened; iii) sepia unlightened. Let me know if they are too small, I'll upload larger versions separately. Thanks. Link to comment
