Ugly??? No, I rather like this shot. The broken symetry of the one gentleman facing the wash-stand while the others are looking to the camera creates interest. The lines leading in from the left are well composed and the exposure is good. Personally, I think you could create a number of interesting portraits with the gentleman in the red and blue checked shirt.

great color and perspective. Love all the smiles. They see you!! They must be on their way in to pray. Removing shoes and washing. Very nice indeed.

Interesting, but vaguely reminiscent of some kind of public toilet. Sorry.

Nice shot, check out my istanbul color folder, you will find the same theme, but different.

I was just about to say "IS this Turkey?" when I clicked on the thumbnail.

 

Lannie: That is only because you have never seen one. Moslems are expected to cleanse themselves before entering the mosque. You also has to take off your shoes.
