Oh brother what a story. Went down to a spot to watch the surf with a

visiting friend of mine. I've had this shot in mind for a long time.

Long time. Although with a woman instead. However the opportunity

presented itself. The waves were 18-25ft and exploding below

us...scary but safe. Though we had a few scares nothing was risky. But

seeing the ocean rise up and break like that gets ones heart moving.

 

We tried this shot a few times and of course the wave wasnt splashing

right. And I was in a hurry to leave so got one 'good' one and called it.

 

We are standing 30ft off the ocean level and the splash goes up 20ft

more. This was a smaller one.
