Ha un impatto visivo ed estetico particolare. wieslawmamon 0 Posted March 7, 2010 it's exactly as you notice in your explanation, the right edge also imho adds to this shot, not only because when we cover it, the photo becomes flatter but also because it creates some tension between the foreground and the background. It's probably a matter of taste but while looking at the crop as is, it raises much more curiosity than the tighter crop. At first sight it may look as an accidential shot but it's clear that every component within the frame is carefully thought out. I think your patience has paid off, great to know you were working in comfortable conditions. Ciao:-} Link to comment
dara 0 Posted March 7, 2010 After reading the interesting and informed comments and discussions above, I can only say that the woman with the scarf on the right is on a diagonal line (golden line composition) with the man viewing the picture, as well as with the picture and its elements itself. In a way it balances the image and furthermore, gives more context and meaning to the photo. Creative, and humorous image Andrea, also nice lighting and black and white. Ciao. Dara Link to comment

mbh 0 Posted May 9, 2010 This shot immediately drew my attention. And it made me smile when I first opened it in large. Only later as my eye wandered did I spot the woman with the scarf. Great shot, wonderful composition. I loved the man looking at the woman in Kasmausky's photo with apparently looking back at him. Then for a little icing, I got to read some very informative, education back and forth comments below. It's always a joy to walk away from a photograph feeling you learned a bit both by looking at and reading about it. Link to comment
