erin_____grasshopper__rice 0 Posted March 24, 2003 What a great picture! As is typical of snow..it creates a very somber peaceful looking environment. I really enjoy looking at this. NICE job! Link to comment
duaneedmonds 0 Posted March 29, 2003 This is a very strong photograph. I really like the composistion, and the exposure seems perfect. Link to comment

marlene_degrood 0 Posted May 1, 2003 Wow.....lot's of comments! I have to admit that I just didn't read the previous comments so if this has been said before, I apologise. First of all, I am extremely impressed with the detail of both the white snow and black benches (my....aren't you brave). I really like the composition and lighting. I only think to make this great image even better, that you could crop in a little tighter to the benches (alot off the left and a little off the bottom). Nice work! Link to comment
oliver_indra 0 Posted May 6, 2003 I truly like the composition and this is very well exposed for I know how difficult it can be to get the right greys and blacks with all that snow around. Just one small thing: I would have given it a bit more headroom. The object top right is, IMO, too close to the frame. Very nice! Grees, Link to comment
jeff_clark5 0 Posted May 25, 2003 Absolutely beautiful. Too bad, though, you can't find the negative :-) Link to comment
paul_schamberger 0 Posted June 7, 2003 A nice simple and pleasing repetition of form. The snow is perfectly white and yet has some texture to it. Link to comment
jay belton 0 Posted June 8, 2003 Amazing photograph! Very original. Technically perfect. Excellent contrast. Perfect use of patterns. DOF is awesome. I can actually SEE the texture of the snow itself! This is prize winning material. Don't change a thing!! Link to comment

joe_hodge 271 Posted June 18, 2003 Nice overall, but the snow on the front bench looks blown out. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 25, 2003 I saw this picture and wanted to comment on it immediately! I was well and truly beaten to that. Commenting on this photo is not easy. It is such a good photo that it is unfair to give it any criticism. That said, you have asked for a critique. The space to the left does not please me. However cropping the space out does not enhance the photograph. The only way to make this 'perfect' would be to shoot it from a different position. Comments have been made that shooting it from further right would have improved this. I have a tendency to agree but I am not 100% sure as the feeling of the 'Circle' might be lost. Would saying, "It is brilliant but there is something wrong with it." be fair criticism? Thanks for posting this! Please feel free to rate / comment on / critique any of my photos. Link to comment
don_risi1 0 Posted June 25, 2003 Wow! Great. Love the contrast between the black / almost black benches and the snow. Link to comment
