Great use of the space and design to lead you through the picture. Really like this shot! It's damn tough to get a well done winter picture, but you've done it.

A very good interpretation of the "lonely park bench" shot. For me, I think this would have been even better if the arch of the benches was pushed slightly to the left.

Great composition and pattern. Very simple and elegant in B&W. I prefer the black and white to color, I think color would be distracting. Has a great motion to it.

A different perspective on a familiar object. I like the lines and contrast created by your composition. Well done.

Very nice image. The picture has been framed just right, and the almost square look fits it perfectly. Well done. This is really cool.

Great pic - I'm interested in the technical side of it. What settings did you use on yr S45? Increase exposure?

Did you decrease contrast (S45 / Photoshop?)

Excellent result!

I find this shot really intriguing. It really caught my eye at first and made me think Wow!. Then I started thinking along the same lines as a few others who have commented -that I would perhaps have either cropped a little off the left and bottom or changed my viewpoint by moving a bit to the right.

Now Ive changed my mind again. I like the slightly quirky composition of this: it makes me keep looking at it and staves off any chocolate box type thoughts!

You must be really happy with this I would be! Well done!

Fantastic! despite virtually flat light & cold wet conditions you have skillfully shown the strength of the black & white medium. I would crop slightly differently, with a little more space at the top right & a little less at the bottom left. But this of course is me being overly picky about what is a wonderful image. So don't listen. Sell this shot.

Such a starkly superb image, Julius. The contrast is excellent in it's tonal range considering you've photographed a snowy scene. The subtle shadows add much to the texture and feel to the picture. The composition is right on, in my opinion. Those subtle shadow tones extend to the edge of most of the frame except to the bottom left and, without any perceptible border, really creates a wonderful negative space that define the snow cover with pure white. Top notch abstract, man! Pristine beauty. Nice work.
