We need the dogs ears in this shot. Excellent finish.

As already said, to see the ears of the dog would have been nice to see. I personally would have liked to see the eyes of the (confused?) horse too. Though, I don't know if latter would have "killed" the photo. - Nice shot!

Great shot. I absolutely don't want to see any more of the horse. You capture a real moment artistically--exactly what I like to see in photos.

I don't think it needed anymore of the horse than you have. The nose and the legs is all we really need to see...it's the dog doing...whatever it is that the dog is doing that makes the image. The dog's ear is distracting but it's just a very cool shot. Good catch

the horse's eyes could be shown on another photo - I was just curious to see his expression. :)

I think if I can get my dog and a horse to co-operte I will experiment with some more shots. Thanks for the suggestions. What if I just cropped the ear out?
