I attempted to take a photo of hummingbird moths in South Korea many years ago at dusk using a flash.  When the flash triggered all the moths acted as though they were stunned and fell to the ground.  All the people observing the moths feeding on flowers were upset with me.  Within a few minutes they began flying again and I did not reattempt the picture.  Has anyone else had this experience with hummingbird moths?
