susan stone 0 Posted February 13, 2010 This turned out so beautiful! These are Pyror Mountain Mustangs, they're known for their more "pure" mustang bloodlines and many of them are this lovely Grulla color. This trio are a mare and two of her offspring. It was fun, Kim, watching them play in the puddle after they'd gotten their drink. The Sepia tone is perfect for this image. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 14, 2010 Thank you Susan! I couldn't remember all that info you just gave! I FINALLY like the way this turned out...I've been messing with it off and on since June, and the sepia did the trick...I finally am happy with it. We had such fun! Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted February 16, 2010 What a fantastic shot Kim, this is a for sure Winner. I really love the colors you have chosen for posting, and I only have one complaint. "You girls have all the fun, and where was I..." I'm looking forward to photographing with you and Susan again someday. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 17, 2010 Thanks Shawn! I knew this photo had "good bones" if I could ever get it edited in a good way. And it seems to me like you've had a lot more fun outings with Susan than I have! Ya, we need to get together again. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted February 18, 2010 Nice perseverance and editing on this, Kim. Did you pay the horses in sugar cubes to 'pose' so nicely for you? :-) It's really a great image. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 19, 2010 Thanks Christal! I think they were a little too wild to feed sugar cubes to:) Susan Stone was driving, and I just kept shooting and got a few that were workable (eventually:~) Link to comment

elktooth 0 Posted August 1, 2010 Kim, this is one of my favorite photos of yours. It reminds me of my when I would visit my grandparents. They had an old painting in their home of some horses that looked very similar to this photo. Good job! Link to comment
