Wild Horses in Sepia

This turned out so beautiful! These are Pyror Mountain Mustangs, they're known for their more "pure" mustang bloodlines and many of them are this lovely Grulla color. This trio are a mare and two of her offspring. It was fun, Kim, watching them play in the puddle after they'd gotten their drink. The Sepia tone is perfect for this image.

Thank you Susan! I couldn't remember all that info you just gave! I FINALLY like the way this turned out...I've been messing with it off and on since June, and the sepia did the trick...I finally am happy with it. We had such fun!

Nice perseverance and editing on this, Kim. Did you pay the horses in sugar cubes to 'pose' so nicely for you? :-) It's really a great image.

Thanks Christal! I think they were a little too wild to feed sugar cubes to:) Susan Stone was driving, and I just kept shooting and got a few that were workable (eventually:~)

Kim, this is one of my favorite photos of yours. It reminds me of my when I would visit my grandparents. They had an old painting in their home of some horses that looked very similar to this photo. Good job!
