buck_gremel 0 Posted February 15, 2003 It's not often that one gets the chance to admire the beauty of an outhouse :-) Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 15, 2003 Buck is right. Amazingly, this photo has aesthetic value, in spite of the foreground subjects. Link to comment
barmijo 0 Posted February 15, 2003 Beautiful shot. Plus it makes my laugh - bonus points for that! Link to comment
john_paskey 0 Posted February 15, 2003 The originality is great. The composition is really good. The sharpness and color could be better. I don`t know about the framing. It`s the first thing I looked at. I like it but it might be a little much for this picture. Great picture overall. Link to comment
www.emmg.graphy.org.uk 0 Posted February 15, 2003 A popular and humorous image well captured, but IMO overpowered by your frame, simplify it and you have a winner. Link to comment
george_vincent 0 Posted February 15, 2003 If not for the lean of the outhouses and the variation of the height of the mountains, it would have been a little too symmetrical. Instead, it works really well. Good use of the tree in the midground. Perhaps a different time of day would have yielded better light. I won't comment on sharpness as you never know if it was the scanner or the photographer. I'd love to see it on the light table under a loupe. All said, I love the image. I enjoy looking at it. That's what it is all about, isn't it? Link to comment
nickolay_lavrik 0 Posted February 17, 2003 Unexpectedly beautiful! Hard not laugh though. Link to comment
kezia 0 Posted February 17, 2003 Amusing and attractive at the same time, but I'd lose the frame, it's just too heavy in my opinion. Link to comment
