Dmitry,

Anna is a beautiful girl. She has had her hair highlighted beautifully. You have focused well on her eye. Her skin tone is very good. The background is nicely neutral. You have burned in subtly around the edges to help keep the viewer's eyes within the photograph -- well done. The contrast is excellent. You have good detail in the whites and blacks. Her catch light is good and she has a pleasant expression. Anna has applied her make-up very well.

Her lighting is good, but I would have preferred short lighting to provide some shadow on the back of her hair. I think this would have better helped create the illusion of depth within your photograph.

Anna's pose is very good. Her posture is excellent. It shows her feminine figure well and her lines are very graceful. I like to have a subject turn just slightly more toward the camera with her body (right shoulder slightly forward and left shoulder back). I think it gives better support for her head - a little broader base. I also think it shows the breasts to better advantage. I really find nothing wrong with the pose you have given her. My comment was just for you to think about.

I really like her top. She appears to have a figure that can wear horizontal stripes, but in a portrait you want to avoid bold patterns and stripes in your subject's clothing (or background for that matter). It draws attention away from her face. You want Anna's face to be the main subject with no distractions. A plain top would be better for a portrait.

Your composition is quite good. I might move Anna back just a little -- or provide a little more room in front of her. Your subject should have more room in front of her face than behind. This allows her to be facing into the picture, not out of it. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph.

There is one little hair that is cutting across the corner of her left eyebrow and eye that bothers me. I would remove it.

Nice shot,

Mark
