West of Lone Pine, Ca on Movie Trail Road... it almost looks like the

Karakoram mountains of Pakistan, but its the eastern Sierra Nevada!

I wish I could break this down into specifics, but I'm afraid I'm not that good at critiquing. In short, this image really jumps out to me. There's something about the lack of color (gray mountains and sky, brown ground, black and white dog) that causes that red collar to pop right out.

Did you set it up or just find it? Either way, it's one great shot. Love it.

(Oh, and I also like the way the snow lines lead up to the dog and then the dog leads to the collar. Great!)

The Dalmatian dog plays the same role again too!
