Very nice. I feel the panoramic view adds a lot to the grandeur of the whole. I love the colours and light in this. Adding more to the right side of the photo does add a slight top-heaviness, however, with a feeling that I would have liked to see more at the top of the photo and less of the seating.

Great job! The panoramic aspect of this photo definitely does add to the grandeur. I would disagree with the previous commentor, though, about the framing. I like the curved lines of the seats and I don't get any sense of top-heaviness. My eyes are drawn from the seats up to the stage - if I would have made the framing choice, I would have left them in as well. All that said, though, I certainly don't have the eye for composition that Kezia does (compare our shared photos if you don't believe me). So, you may not want to listen to me.

beautiful picture , and beautiful performance in such conditions ( the first thing that you think is "he went to opera with his tripod ??? ".).

It is a pity that there was nobody on the scene at this moment (but with if , you could put paris in a bottle ).

If you have possibilities to attempt another time , perhaps try to take one or two ranks more at the top ?.

You should put a link to your others pictures on pbase.

Beautiful! Extremely well done, especially given the slow shutter speed. And I, for one, find the rising rows of seats add to the image.

Hey, this wasn't like this when I went there. The scene was closed and it was empty... oh well, nice image :)

This is nice. The color cast of the seating area makes that the neutrally lit stage draws extra attention. And who says you need a tripod to make panoramas?

Please reduce the size of ALL your photo.net uploaded photographs to meet our published requirements. Pictures which are too large will not fit on most (or even any!) screens, and take most of our users far too long to download. They also slow the site down for everyone. The photo.net FAQ states:

Photos uploaded to photo.net must be in jpg format, less than 100k, and no larger than 800 pixels in the longer dimension.

This photo is 277k, and 1695x687 pixels!

Francis this is what ones eye would see. When I look at this photo I know that I am seeing the whole thing. This is very very good.

Great shot. The angle is very good, so is the light and the stage itself has a wonderful set-up.
