Jarek,

Elwira is a pretty girl. You have focused well on her eyes. She has good eye contact with the camera (viewer) and very nice catch lights. Her expression is good -- relatively neutral with maybe a hint of a smile. Her skin tone is very good -- wonderful highlights. I love the specular highlights on her lips. She has very good butterfly (Hollywood) lighting. The background is nicely neutral and Elwira has good separation from the background. Her make-up is very well applied -- great eyelashes. You have really made her eyes stand out -- very nicely done.

The backlight is supposed to help separate her from the background, but the grey that it produces on her top almost blends into the background. I think she would have had better separation without the backlight.

I'm not too sure I like the position of her hands. It might have looked more natural to have her put her fingers into her hair.

I wish there was a little more detail in the front of her top and that she wasn't wearing those red earrings. The red really draws my attention away from her face.

You have done a wonderful job showing her eyes. If she were to turn her head just a little bit more towards the camera, some of the whites of her eyes, to the left (her left) of her irises, would show. It is best to have at least some of the whites of her eyes showing on each side of her irises. It makes the eyes appear more balanced. The bridge of her nose is starting to cut into her far eye, also.

Elwira has more room in front of her than behind which allows her to be facing into the picture, not out of it. This is very good, but you don't want quite that much room. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph. I would crop a little off the left side.

Nice shot,

Mark
