-- Patsy -- so glad you liked this one.....and enought to put in your favorites folder. I love fuscia's so much and every year there seems to be a new variety.....thank you for your visit and enthusiasium.....sincerely, Gail

-- Rashed-- You are always welcome to come and visit especially when you 'bear words as beautiful as flowers'...many thanks for your more than kind words Rashed......take care, Gail

--Birte--They are a flower that does need tending to....one home we had ....our Art Gallery was out of the front of our home...and one summer I had the front archway full of colorful fuscia/ a few hanging and in stands.....it was just lovely. But I did find that the petals stained the cement porch quite easily.

During that time.....I enjoyed gardening much more than I do now....(my back that is)....I loved quiet summer evenings when I would go and tend to all the hanging baskets--.I found it so relaxing....but that was much before the Photography bug bit me. Now I love to waunder among them at nurseries and private gardens and photograph them.....and it in of itself is also a form of 'therapy' for the mind.....tnks so much for dropping in....I know you are very busy these days.....sincerely, Gail

--Alec-- I am surprised you don't have these flowers where you are....although...they are fussy....don't like a lot of heat....wind....the need a bit of sunlight...and you have to be so careful to keep their environment protected.....They kind of remind me of Jaslyn.....delicate, feminine, graceful, and so beautiful....hope the honeymooner's are doing well. Thank you for your visit and critique.

It takes a lot of time and effort to post process a photo and come up with a lovely image such as this. Creativity definitely goes with it and this one has it all. Great photo, Gail and thanks for visiting my portfolio once more and leave inspiring comments to few of my images. Best regards! - Lester

Gail I am so impressed with this shot. You have gotten a great DOF and it is so crisp. I almost feel like I can smell it. Lovely.

I appreciate so much your insightful critique......in all the time taken...many "retrys" are inevitable. I'm looking at this image on a new

laptop that my husband gave me for Christmas.....I've done my best to callibrate it, but the colors are even more vibrant...actually too vibrant and it actually bothers me.

Makes me wonder what others see when they view our images.....but hopefully there is a happy medium. Your appreciation of this image comes with much understanding......which Iam thankful for. I'm not at the stage where I do great landscapes....but I truly hope with more experience with my camera..one day I'll reach my goal. Many thanks for you visit and critique....sincerely, Gail
