jrickert 2 Posted January 20, 2010 I didn't use a macro lens or a tripod to make this photograph. What do you think? Thank you. Link to comment

jrickert 2 Posted January 21, 2010 Thank you, Andrea. I had to move in close, to accentuate the bee, so I used a small F-stop. Glad you like it. David. Pink and purple are my favorite colors. My neighbor, Alex, had this pretty flower in her garden last summer. I was photographing trees, that were to be cut down by the electric company because of the power lines and saw this. I couldn't pass it up! :) José: I sharpened this image with my photo editing program. It was difficult to hold the camera steady to photograph the bee. But it was worth the effort. Link to comment

jrickert 2 Posted January 27, 2010 Thank you so much for your compliment, Ellen. I sharpened this photo right before I posted it. Your "The Piano" photo is on the front page today. Your rats are becoming famous. I counted and you have 100 rat photos out of 473. Maybe some day I will have that ratio of dog photos here :) Link to comment

joanbn 0 Posted February 5, 2010 Great detail of the wings. Good job of being able to define the bee without a tripod. Thank you for visiting and leaving comments in my portfolio. It's greatly appreciated. Link to comment
