AJHingel 127 Posted January 17, 2010 Can I be permitted to join the good company. I love this too. A very good and abstract shot that benefit from a good composition and beautiful details. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted January 17, 2010 The Masters have preceded me in commenting on this nice abstract. Would it be possible to take the photograph again when there is more light to bring out the colors better? Link to comment
lliebl 5 Posted January 18, 2010 Anders & Shawn - I took this shot on a visit to California recently. I'll attach the other shot---which I considered posting as well. Thanks for your comments and suggestions ~~~~~~~~~~~~~L Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted January 19, 2010 Thanks for showing what you had to work with in order to get the posted image. With abstracts and closeups it is always interesting to be able to see what the photographer saw and what was chosen for viewing. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted January 21, 2010 I spent quite awhile looking through your portfolio the other day. You may not have the best portfolio on PN (although it's excellent), but you certainly have one of the most creative minds. I can learn a lot from studying your work.....it's like a lesson on 'how to see'. I do believe that a certain amount of that skill is innate, but I also think a person with good instincts can develop it.....as I'm trying to do. As for this image, you've made fine art out of a rather ordinary scene.......typical of most of your work. I guess you get the idea that I'm a huge fan of yours! Link to comment

LindaM 2 Posted January 22, 2010 This is wonderful. You know I have an attraction for water images. I love what the ripples do to those vertical lines, or conversely what the vertical lines do to break up the ripples! Link to comment
