simon_hodgson 0 Posted February 9, 2003 Some may notice this is an older image which I've cropped. I was going to do it some time ago but you know how it is...! Link to comment
paul_mason3 0 Posted February 9, 2003 very nice frozen motion. the bike is very crisp against the blurred background. the crazy thing is you can't even tell what the original structure is like in the background. the sunlight shining off the bike is nice, as well. Link to comment
navarra 0 Posted February 10, 2003 Fantastic image! Did you really take this by panning the camera? Must have been very hard, congratulations. This would make a beautiful poster. Simone Link to comment
darryn patch sydney austr 0 Posted February 10, 2003 Simon was that at Eastern Creek, if so next time you go let me know, I'll come out too. I just bought a 1D and am keen to get it trackside. Thats a good shot on par with what you'll find in AMCN and the likes. Link to comment
john_paskey 0 Posted February 10, 2003 Good shot. The background really gives the photo a sense of motion. Link to comment
carl_crosby3 0 Posted February 10, 2003 Simon: you nailed it! exposure and panning were right on--I'm jealous. Link to comment
mclaine 0 Posted February 11, 2003 This must have been fun! (for 5 minutes, I'd be looking for the exit after that)......great panning job Simon, nailed it! Link to comment
ron c sunshine coast, qld,a 0 Posted February 12, 2003 GREAT pan,+ like the way the road looks painfully thin! Don't like the polarised colours though-takes away from the lovely sunny day Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted February 12, 2003 Sharp and colorful action shot. Excellent panning on your part. Don't mistake my low originality score for not liking the shot...it is an attractive and very professional shot...there is just not anything overly unique about it that makes it different from many others just like it. johnny_tergo 0 Posted March 3, 2003 Very well done!!! What a great pan shot!! The only critique that I could offer would be to try and frame the bike more to the right of the frame so that it would have a leading space to it's left. HOWEVER, seeing as this panis done soo well I am hard pressed to even offer you that advice... Great shot! Link to comment
