Standard Oil Gas Station - Odell, IL - Along Old Route 66

The B&W was a good choice.

Took this during my Christmas vacation. Ideally we would have made it

during daylight hours and would have been able to visit the small

museum located within, but I think the result of what the conditions

were to work with the results turned out in my favor. Would like to know

your thoughts on this as well. Also, I do realize the hanging sign is

slightly out of focus, as there were some wind gusts blowing through to

help the sub-freezing temps already present. Thanks for stopping in!

Yep, i agree, the black and white really makes the pic....stands out and i really diddnt notice the out of focus sign....its a little blown out in the middle but apart from that it attracts the viewer and a great shot!
