Yes, a scene shot 1,000,000,000 times. What do you think of this one?

There are two layers here the upper portion (everything above

treeline) utilizes the "red filter" while everything below the

treeline is run through a "blue filter." My goal was to include the

trees, but to direct the viewers attention to the center of the image;

i.e. I wanted the trees muted and I wanted to bring out the haze just

over them (btw, this haze comes from campfires in the valley).

Hi Martin,

 

Yosemite is one of my favorite subjects. One of the freedoms of shooting the familiar, is that I am set loose from trying to be 'original'. It all comes down to my vision of a place. You had a marvelous opportunity, great conditions and made the best of it. I don't feel like it's appropriate to offer the numeric rating because everything about an image like this is so subjective. Thanks for sharing your work.
