Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 9, 2010 Thanks for your comments. Tatjana - this is actually a vertical banner at a video arcade for one of their latest games in front of a red poster. Bengt - We live in an age of heroes and villains; a polarized world with fault lines just as deep, if not deeper, than those during the Cold War. Reason and nuance seem casulaties of our time; rationality has given way to polemics and action. This is reflected in every aspect of our culture, even to the increasing simple-mindedness of our entertainment and its icons. By the way, I read your bio statement on your pn homepage and find your approach and conclusions similar to my own. I'd sure like you to post more frequently, though. Link to comment
mbh 0 Posted January 11, 2010 An appealing bit of eye candy. I'd like to say I got something from it about our polarized world, but raising two kids at the right age, my mind raced off to some of their games and the comic strip my son is putting together with friends, heavily drawing on this style (if not quite so well done). Nice shot. Link to comment
