ellery 0 Posted January 8, 2010 Is that my monitor or is there a dark band across the top half of the photo? Link to comment
acarodp 0 Posted January 8, 2010 You might possibly refer to the shadow starting in the hairs of the foreground statue and passing about at half the height of the columns behind? That is, as said, a shadow, the light on the statues (bottom) and on the top of the arches on the upper-right corner came from different windows. Ciao L. Link to comment
ellery 0 Posted January 9, 2010 Ahh, now that I am at my home, my monitor renders it much nicer - my monitor at work is so dark and murky, it looked weird - it looks great now ! Link to comment
acarodp 0 Posted January 9, 2010 Ooops! I noticed I did a typo in the critique request: the king in the tomb is of course Louis XII (1462-1515) and NOT Louis XVII (1785-1795) who was never really a king: he was the dauphin, son of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, who were imprisoned and then executed by the french revolution. Louis XVII died himself at age 10, in unclear circumstances, possibly murdered to avoid royalist claims who would endanger the revolutionary regime. Still, it appears I cannot change the critique request above! L. Link to comment
