lalit 0 Posted January 9, 2010 After taking a few early morning shots on the beautiful plateau of Kas, I turned around and started looking for any signs of the wonderful macro world. It was still early and the butterflies were just starting to wake up as the warm sunlight started to thaw their wings. I found a web very close to the ground level, all covered with the dew. I bent down and started looking for any sign of spiders, and this guy was already at work. I found this miniature house of web decorated with these tiny pearls all around. Sensing our movement this spider went inside. Little patience paid off. I was able to capture this spider coming out of the inner room before it went back inside again. Link to comment
cmouli 0 Posted January 10, 2010 nice... the "pearls" came out great. I wish the depth of focus was slightly better - particularly in the top right corner. what aperture did you use? with macro this is always a challenge. if you dont already, you should get a macro focus rail - i got one several months ago and love it. great shot - thanks.
