simsfoto 5 Posted January 8, 2010 I took this in the afternoon on an overcast day this last summer. The green seems a bit washed out to me but overall I like the shot. Any ideas on how I could have gotten better color or changed the composition? Thanks! Link to comment
lee_lafontaine 0 Posted January 9, 2010 Jeff: The composition is fine, it's just a little faint, that's all. As for the color, perhaps it's just a bit too cool. Try increasing the contrast. That will make the wheel tracks darker and more noticable--more of a 'design'. That may also slightly lighten the grass. If that doesn't do it; either adjust just the green to increase it's saturaton; or increase the saturation of the entire photo. That should help add some depth to the photo. Be careful with the saturation, thought. If you overdo it, it'll look like a Christmas tree. Well done. Lee Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted January 11, 2010 An interesting shot - if you want it to be less 'pale', then I would emphasize the dark lines with the PS levels command and moving the leftmost slider towards the right. best regards, Link to comment
