still exists after the Tsunami.

This is quite different. I find it most attractive about the patterns and the colors on the white sand below water. Is this captured partly underwater? It looks like the wave is going halfway the frame. The curve traced by the water is out of focus and slightly distracting. Wondering reducing its brightness could help?

Excellent image. Great composition and fascinating interest level. Well-times too a very different, truely physical movement across the image. Did you have to compensate for the different exposure below and above the water or is this a straight shot?

This looks to be partially underwater and partially above or…the water is just that clear that you managed this shot?? Having visited this area I know how clear the waters are and the distance one can see through the water, very deceptive; what looks like a few feet of water could be twenty or more.

 

However you did this it is a brilliant image! Very beautiful and the colors combined with light are amazing.

Very nice and original work, Michael. The soft line of water/air boundary is not a problem for me, it is impossible to have everything within the depth-of-field, so it looks natural to my eye. This is not a static situation that could be a candidate for focus bracketing... The only thing I would be tempted to change here would be to lighten the distant hills a bit, but that is just a matter of personal preference.
