Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 11, 2010 Yeah, considerable Photoshop skills to put it mildly. I'm definitely not one of those people in search of "pure photography". Nice game if that's what you're into but for me it's the resonant image and I really don't care how you accomplish it. And you have a lot of resonant images including this one. By the way, one welcomes all the "praise and adoration" one can get because sooner or later the circus moves on and when all the bullshit is over there might be an intersting person or two with whom to have a lively conversation or share a favorite photo. chrisvest 1 Posted February 21, 2010 thanks for looking and commenting folks. the sheep indeed were photographed in italy, tho nearer to the alps than tuscany. i'd been running around chasing birds but decided to sit and let them come me. i'd just seen a serin finch and a red-backed shrike when one sheep appeared and just stared at me. moments later there were two or three, then a dozen, all staring curiously at me. they gradually approached with timidity and finally they literally mobbed me like a litter of puppy dogs. a very affectionate bunch of critters.
