stephan dietrich 0 Posted January 1, 2010 Due to a hard-drive crash in 2006, I thought this image was lost for good. Thanks to an awesome data recovery company the image was found. If you look close, you will see that this photograph was taken in the rain. This bird did not seem to mind the rain and was singing up a storm. A great day in Napa Valley (if there ever could be a bad day)! Wishing you and yours the very best, "HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!" Link to comment

kallol 1 Posted January 1, 2010 Beautiful shot...lovely colors and dof...very nicely composed....in my humble opinion, if you could place the title in a small font at the right corner, it would be nicer one to view the the image in a peaceful way...placement and font of title is a bit distracting for this very very beautiful image... my best Link to comment
melisabeth 0 Posted January 2, 2010 beautiful image. I like the out of focus yellows in the front. The rain gives the whole image a nice softness. Happy new year to you too! Link to comment

barclayphoto 0 Posted May 12, 2010 This is a very interesting image. The DOF is killer and the rain drips give me a sense of dreary... Normally the bird looking out of the frame might be an issue where it is placed but in this image it works very well. This might be due to the visual strength of the post she is sitting on.Well done!
