I like the light, the B&W, the fact that it is not posed. I am curious though as to what she is doing. It appears she is holding something in her hand and it looks odd.

This is a lovely low key portrait but I think removing some of the negative space on the right would strengthen the composition, that way she is not slap in the middle of the image.

I think the crop looks worse, it leaves the image in funny size. i think the original looks much better
