I felt like this was more a photo of the park bench than it was of the TransAmerica Building; but, that only affects my opinion of the title. The photo is really good; very strong use of tone; one of the better examples I've seen of using multiple diagonals.

I felt that the point of the TransAmerica Building acted as another set of diagonals to support the converging lines of the bench and fence. There is also a subdued, implied line of lamps in the background, which I thought helped. The texture of the boardwalk, as it interlaces with the shadow pattern of the fence, was also a strong use of line and tone.

Ah yes, very nice indeed - my first glance I thought this was a very busy photo - but upon further inspection, all of these objects form great dynamic lines that all seem to lead toward the city - wonderful composition! This may be a silly idea, but the line of lamp posts on the left side are a bit duller than the ones on the left - I wonder if you dodge and burn the white areas of each of the lights just a tiny bit, you may bring out that diagonal just a bit more...just a thought - love it as is too!

Effective use of perspective and strong contrast to draw the eye towards the Transamerica bldg. This interpretation of the urban landscape conveys a great sense of angularity and power, very different from what you'd see somewhere out in the country.
