prezesura 0 Posted December 28, 2009 welcome to the comunity first, you image lacks focus-sharpness, fruit is not sharp small or large version second, it would be nicer image if you recompose this frame in such a way that the bright orange fruir appears on darker backgroud it helps to bring attention to it it would stand out ever more If I was you I would take this image from positon furder to the left so I can get baranches and leaves behind the fruit try it yourself and have fun with your camera :) anyway its a nice fruit I like to eat them regards ! dthew 0 Posted December 29, 2009 This was at about head height and my first shot was from the left which then meant the background was sky. I immediately realised, as you suggested, that I needed a darker background, and so had to raise the camera above my head to look down on this and get the tree trunk and branches to try and provide a darker background. Obviously this wasn't the most stable shooting position hence the loss of sharpness. Stepladder and tripod next time! Link to comment
