Farmer and bike

I shot this photo on a recent visit to Cuba. I don't think of myself

as a protrait/people photographer. But I was pleasantly surprised

with the results. I like the high contrast of the print however

others think a softer tonal scale would improve the shot. Any opinons

or comments would be greatly appreciated.

No, I think the sharper contrast and sharp focus emphasize the harshness of the environment.

Very nice. It feels very balanced. If you were going to photoshop one thing it would be the white blotch in the doorway.

Very nice Jennifer. This is very good work. Good composition, good contrast, and plenty of range. I might crop just a little closer to the front of the bike, but thats a judgement call.
