Gavin, really stunning colors, at their best in soft mode. Would have been "top shelf" all the way, if that second flower had of been included in your focal point. Still pretty nice as is!

Thanks, Roger... Your comment on the out-of-focus flower is interesting, because I actually framed it that way intentionally. I personally like that it is not generically all in the frame, and requires the viewer to put the pieces together in their mind's eye. But to each their own!

I thought you might have. To me what is really, really good here is your colors. I would even go beyond good and say fantastic! On looking at this more, i would now like to change from both being in focus to it becoming a true dream time image with no focal point. this image printed as a "giclee" print on one of a variety of fine art papers would be absolutely stunning. Those soft colors would just melt together, would actually knock your socks off. I'll tell you what if you find a good print master or just someone that actually knows about printing and have this printed in the giclee method and your not happy with it. i will pay the full cost of the printing. Thats a promise! Also i don't think this is a "to each their own" situation here, just two people who have different opinions of one really nice image.

Nice composition, I personnaly like playing with different focus planes, like you did here. The left flower brings the magic to this shot.
