Children Posturing

edng

Subjects were Burmese Mon children that fascinated me. They were taking turns diving into Khao Lerm Lake, located near the 3 Pagoda Pass, bordering Burma.

Ed - a great photograph. The slightly off axis of your position to the children and the bridge is just enough to hold equal composition of each child and yet be able to capture a nice profile of the backflip (in perfect position). Each boy's pose is natural. My only suggestion would be to have a slight crop on the right side of the frame to balance the margin space on the left. But this is just a slight consideration. Overall nice photo. The boys under the bridge add another dimension of interest.

Great moment, nicely captured. I usually don't encourage cropping, since I try to avoid it, but since walking around in wet shoes was probably the price of moving closer, I'd suggest a slight crop around the sides and top.

Everybody is looking at the boy jumping, so your eyes keep coming back to the main part of the subject. Very good timing

I agree with Beau, a crop on the left and right would make this feel much more refined, if you wanted it to feel that way. Also, it is a little flat, but not much. I feel like this is a c*@t hair away from being something classic. cheers
