demianov 0 Posted April 1, 2010 Is this a composite? If not: BRAVO! You left a lot of space on the right, a bold step and it worked great! The shallow DOF is perfect. The amount of light on the leaves is just right. Again: if this was done in one piece then it's a MASTERpiece! Link to comment
donna pallotta 108 Posted April 2, 2010 a lovely piece of fragility and delicacy: delicacy of line, of circle; fragility of plant vulnerability, of water stirred; fragility and delicacy of soothing light. timeless and sensitive. bravo. dp Link to comment
raymondborg 0 Posted April 2, 2010 This is a simple but strong and stunning image. Great lighting and composition. Well done. Link to comment
uzay_ki_i 0 Posted April 2, 2010 I really like to watch this image very relaxing, the only concern might be about the place of the signature, maybe it should be put to the empty place on the right.I wonder if you tried the water rings in focus version? (if this is not a composite image) Link to comment
anthony_mckay 0 Posted April 3, 2010 I find that the eye is forced to the most in focus area of the image which is the upper left section of leaves on the vine. the ripples in the water become an after thought. It might be a better image if the leaves just above the ripples and the ripples themselves were the sharpest areas of the image. Then the eye would be lead into them most interesting part of the photo.Just one mans opinion. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 3, 2010 I see an image lying between the real and the ethereal, not quite resting comfortably in either. I think it might be more provocative if pushed firmly one way or the other. Link to comment
Rox Bohn 0 Posted April 3, 2010 Less is more...agree in this shot it works well. The statement this image makes to me (and does well) is that water is life for the tree-Renar, this is a wonderful image- I can not think of anyway to improve upon it- I can see it as a series or triptic. The signature would be better at the upper left (which i imagine is against all the rules) perhaps.Thank you for sharing. jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted April 5, 2010 Renar this is an elegant and sophisticated image. I feel a relax and tranquil mood as I look at it many times opening PN everyday during spring brake, several times a day. A great idea to capture such a peaceful movement!!! Warm regards. Link to comment
fotodano 0 Posted April 5, 2010 The things I look for in a photo start with a feeling that goes beyond the print on the paper (or screen lately). Your image conveys an immediate sense of peace and tranquility. Your composition gives me a moment to breathe. Tell me nothing about how you made this image, let me enjoy it for the magic it contains beyond your technical prowess. Bravo!! Link to comment
