holifield 0 Posted December 21, 2009 It is a beautiful capture. I love the lighting, mood, atmosphere, and composition. The only thing I would change is it is a little to dark in the upper right hand. Congrats on a great capture. Link to comment
marty_schoo 0 Posted December 22, 2009 Hi Lombard, I like the mono look that is created by the weather yet the timbers of the tree and bench add a bit of punch to the shot. I think that works well. The vignette added also works well and I am a fan of using it in some shots myself but I think you may have overdone it in this case. Maybe try and decrease the amount and feather a little more. Cheers Link to comment
jim_air 0 Posted December 23, 2009 Like the overall starkness and the contrasting angles of the park benches to the trees. If you could somehow move the park benches you could not get a better arrangement - it seems perfect ! I am not a very experienced photographer having taken it up in my retirement, however there seems to be just a bit too much contrast between the brightness of the front park bench and the darkness at the top of the trees, however those far more experienced than me should be the ones to listen to. I did stop by because your image grabbed my attention, and enjoyed looking at it. Congratulations ! Link to comment
bruno_lombard1 0 Posted December 23, 2009 Thank you for your comments !! I certainly did exagerate on the vignette effect ! Brighter on the edges would have been more effective... I wish you all a very merry Christmas ! Amicalement Bruno Link to comment
