Another wry take on the world--perhaps this is the vehicle Ms. Gort arrived on, now in quarantine? The color is muted here, and it serves the content well.

This has that crisp, plastic sheen that is characteristic of much of your urban work. An almost airbrushed quality to the poles and shadows, which I find impossible to replicate. Thematically, the personified prisoner wrings a bit of pathos.

I've noticed that quality, too, and can't really account for it myself. Sometimes these pictures seem to inhabit a place between photogaphy and illustration. Must be something about the way I see. Or the way my camera processes light. Well, it really can't be that because I"ve used several cameras and the pictures all end up the same way. It's ok with me becasue I usually like the resullt.

that's the geometry I enjoy most here...the few color that exists makes it a bit warmer than the cold geometric element would suggest on a BW version...

For what it's worth I've always dug the way you get this effect/quality, it's something I have tried quite a bit myself (in my own way), you do pull it off very well. It thoroughly suits the composition here too. Nice work.
