Melloncholy

ian cameron

My favourite beach in Scotland even when its raining and the skies are overcast this place never fails to leave me spellbound. This is another one of those little peat streams that meanders its way through soft red sand down to a sea of turquoise beneath a pre-dawn purple sky. I am always intrigued by the line of indigo coloured mountains that back the bay, despite the weather I find the scene tirelessly beautiful in its meloncholy.

Ian, I am always impressed about the beautiful compositions and the subtle nuances you are able to bring out in your photos. I wish you all the best for the coming year. Karl

Beautiful image, with very nice tones. However, for me can look even better with a longer exposure, to give a silky effect to the water.
