A view inside

Dear photographer,

 

Thank you for taking a look at my photo. I'm not really sure about the light and color of

this photo. Can you give me some advice? Is the composition interesting: the inside of

the flower 'looking' around the 'corner'? Thanks for your time to comment!

Pim: I like the overall photo and the composition. I think that you were able to capture the transparency of the pedals was good. The limited DOF is interesting way of drawing ones eye to the center of the image. Tom

I agree with Tom's comments. Your composition is quite effective. Because a viewer can only peek at a small section of the flower's interior, the transparency of the petals has to carry the viewer the rest of the way. The colors are delightful, although the two petals in the background appear blown out. That, however, is just a minor technical flaw.
