Amantaní Boy

While on the island of Amantaní in Lake Titicaca, I stumbled upon three boys building boats of clay. I took a picture of this boy, the youngest, and then promptly forgot about it. Later that night, I found myself in a darkened town hall, showing off my days photos on the little LCD screen on my Canon s30. When this picture came up, a woman behind my shoulder joyously cried out, Thats my son! Something I realized on my last trip through Peru Digital cameras are HUGE ice-breakers!
