dougsmiley 0 Posted December 12, 2009 that busy background detracts from the subject...can you lose some of the branches? Link to comment
glynsumner 0 Posted December 13, 2009 Yes you are right, it would look better. Unfortunately we can't force wild creatures to pose where it suits us as photographers. I was pleased to be able to get close enough to get a reasonably sharp shot. I'd love to lose some of the branches but I'm not into that much 'touching up and tinkering' of photos. Link to comment
garydad 0 Posted December 13, 2009 Hi Glyn, I liked your shot so much that I took the liberty of playing with it some. I sincerely hope you don't mind. Please understand that my playing is just that...me goofing off...and as that, it is not intended to be an "improvement." Simply play time. Anyway, I'll post my results here. I cropped the shot a little and I cloned away some of those mean branches that got in your way. I hope you don't disapprove. Link to comment
glynsumner 0 Posted December 13, 2009 Hi Gary No worries, you did a good job, well done! I'm not too handy with the clone tool unless its very small alterations. Link to comment
dougsmiley 0 Posted December 13, 2009 I hear your frustration. I too need to become more proficent at photo editing. Cloning, or getting rid of unwanted objects is one of the first techniques on my list to learn. Link to comment
