Tim, a masterfull & outstanding compoition. This is the beauty & power of black & white photography, you could never capture the emotional impact of this image in colour, no mater how hard you tried To me , you have captureed the essence of farming,the freshly plowed, straight as an arrow furrows waiting to be seeded,than the sprouting, fingers crossed,hoping for favourable weather producing a good crop, & finally, the harvesting to complete the cycle. Definitely included in " my favourite images". This is just such a compositionally beautiful image. I like how you've left such a large amount of open space in the foreground and on the left, and the trees are so nicely positioned. I know how I would have tried to photograph this, and it just wouldn't have been as effective -- I appreciate being able to see this wonderful view of three trees in a gently rolling, furrowed landscape.

It's nice to see this pop up again.  It's still a wonderful photo to my eyes, maybe even more so that when I first viewed it over a year ago.  This is for my favorites folder.

Thanks again Stephen! It's been awhile since I've been to this area, where I used to frequent due to work. Perhaps I'll revisit.
