mitchc 0 Posted December 11, 2009 This is one of my old favorites...not sure why, just something about it. Comments and suggestions encouraged please. Thanks! Link to comment
hans11664883765 0 Posted December 12, 2009 I share the "something about it" sentiment and am also not sure why...It's like its a memory flash to an undefined time (last week? 20 years ago?) that reflects a level of content, soothing and satisfied. On the not so poetic side: you get out of bed in the morning, look at her sleeping and smile thinking about what you did last night ;) Link to comment
mitchc 0 Posted December 12, 2009 You nailed it! That's it in a nutshell...well said...thanks. Link to comment
ektorcoughanour 0 Posted December 12, 2009 This picture is great...It looks natural...you believe the "story"....the over-exposed light and the tone makes the photo more artistic....Best regards. Link to comment
mitchc 0 Posted December 14, 2009 Thank you for the complement. I think the overexposed light works too. I know it is sort of sacrosanct to have nothing in a photo overexposed, but sometimes I think it evokes something necessary to the photograph. I like it in this one at any rate. I'm glad to know somebody agrees. Link to comment
hans11664883765 0 Posted December 17, 2009 Yeah, I should have mentioned that. I wonder if the overexposed works so well because that is how our memory works? Many times you remember the "overall scene" and not the details. It is the overexposure that triggered my "memory flash" comment. Pic is in my favorites now btw :) Link to comment
