kristian_s_oslash_rensen 0 Posted February 2, 2003 If this was unstaged, then it is a very good catch. BTW. she looks very cute and teenager-ish. That goes to show how little people in various parts of the world differs. Link to comment

hexenwolfe 0 Posted February 2, 2003 Playful posture and nubile figure. That is the essence of 14 year old females of every color. Link to comment
ian_macdonald2 0 Posted February 2, 2003 Lovely expression. Pity about the distracting stray hand in the lower left. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted February 2, 2003 The capture is perfect since it's clearly natural and real. The reality of the document is emphasized by that moving hand (although you could, perhaps, clone it out), I would, as well, reccomend to put a black frame to differentiate the image from the white background of Photo.netEnhorabuena que tu primera foto tenga esta acogida. Creo que deberías poner un marco a las fotos para la presentación. ¿Sabes como hacerlo? Link to comment
fred_vnoucek 0 Posted February 3, 2003 Hi Marina ... not only for a 'beginner' this is a pretty good shot. I cannot see any way to 'stage'an Image like that, so in my opinion you did that 'off hand' as a snapshot. That is very good :o) ... I agree on other comment the moving hand down left is a bit distracting. More destracting to me is, you cut off the skull of the poor girly ... One question before I come to the positive side: what happened to the background, as it appears blank on my screen, very unusal to see the perfect body colors and lights but the background is white? I am not that much on Digital and one of the 'old-fashioned' analogers .. so maybe it comes from that side. The positive points IMO: you catched a lovely look on the girls face, with shining eyes, blank teeth and perfect contrast from the tongue to the darker body. thats very great. Add on the nice effect from the lights and shadow play on the skin (guess it's the shadow of a palm tree, so I think you made that at Epupa Falls?) and this makes a very nice Image. I rate that with 7 for the Originality, and with 6 for Aesthetics for reasons I explained above. Hope that was of any help to you and if u have any more questions feel free to contact me. k._s._lovington 0 Posted February 3, 2003 I rather enjoy the head being cropped, here. It makes the composition much more intimate. This is the first time I can remember seeing someone from this type of culture with this kind of expression, and I thank you for that. cheers. Link to comment

tamarafleming 0 Posted February 4, 2003 Great job, I really like the expression of this image.. I see you have Sony 717, I have the Sony 707 and have been trying to do artistic nudes, but I have a problem with how black skin looks in the picture (it turn orange). How are you enjoying your 717? nomade 1 Posted February 4, 2003 This is a great catch! Agree about the previous comments: hand on the left foreground, cropped head, white background and frame. But some things in this kind of shot cannot be controlled totally. That's why in cases like this you need to shoot as much as you can, specially if you have a digital camera and then no film to waste... BTW: she's SO cute!! :-) Link to comment
david_wilcock 0 Posted February 4, 2003 you have caught a great moment. it is very strinking, the expression, and the aesthetics. it is so candid it is unsettling. Link to comment
intransit 0 Posted May 22, 2003 There is nothing to add to the prior critiques, except its nice to see a carefree and perky capture... life is beautiful! Link to comment
