very nice window light usage.

the light is very effective here. But somehow my eyes get drawn towards the bottom of the picture, may be because of the light pans. If you crop it from the bottom to where the sweater starts and a little from the right to eliminate some of the wall, it will bring all attention to the face, which has such a sweet expression.

Thanks for the comments - I'll certainly try the cropping Elizabeth suggests. I think it could be the improvement I was looking for.
