Very elegant in its simplicity. I love it, and I love the slight texture to your background which plays nicely with the texture of the starfish. Bravo!

Pierre-

I have just found this in your portfolio and love it. Black and creamy white create the perfect contrast to show off the intricacy of the sea star underside (and I love the fact that you called them by the correct, name, sea star, not star fish). This is clean, contemporary "natural" art - often times beauty is best exhibited as the essence of simplicity. Nothing more to say about this - it's gorgeous and well done. I think it's unfortunate that some viewers seem to have a "knee-jerk" dislike to anything in black and white or dark and neutrals and immediately assign a low rating. I've experienced that on a couple of my photos and have seen the same on other's works. I guess art works like music when it comes to mass appeal - "Fast and loud, please the crowd; sweet and low, watch them go." Oh, yes 7/7 on this one (7 = excellence, not perfection. I think sometimes we end to forget that).

Cheers and congrats on another one well done!

Thank you Sandra!

I only don't know why have I marked this picture as montage?! If it is montage it is only the picture put on the black background after selecting! I know I had one big and two smaller and they are obviously different, therefore I didn't have to be a montage!
