lb1 0 Posted December 4, 2009 Long time exposure near a moor. Post processing work with Lightroom and Photoshop (a bit softening, toning and vignette). Please note, that it was not my intension to show a "quick" and placative image, but a more artistic interpretation of "wind sparks". Let me know, what you think about this "abstract" landscape, i am curious about your opinion about this photo. Link to comment
donna pallotta 108 Posted December 5, 2009 it's a creative abstract pure rendition of black&white, bright and dark; it's quite simple in its purity and simplicity, especially considering how ironic it is that your vision to render it is far from simple. Thanks for a quite beautiful piece. dp Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted December 7, 2009 I have looked at this photograph for several days; and I have to tell you that I think it very artistic. I really like the overall effect you've achieved here. What about brightening up the dark spot in the trees on the left side above the bright grasses just a touch? That darkish spot tends to pull the eye to it. Well done, Lutz. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
lb1 0 Posted December 7, 2009 @Chris: Thx for your suggestion, Chris. You are right, now that you are saying it, i have to agree to you. The tonal definition of the dark spot to the left is a bit too strong - probable a bit depending on the monitor, that one uses (analog, TFT) - but it surely will not harm the image effect, if this area was a bit brighter... Thx a lot for your constructive advice! ;-) Link to comment
